I know it must be hard to have such a difficult schedule, but part of school is acceptance. Learn to accept the students around you and your teachers. They can't all be that bad. Whether your in Middle School or High School, join a sport or a very active club, which usually messes up your schedule. That way you get a new schedule. Enjoy the rest of your school year!

Do you have advanced classes at your school? You could always try to move up to one or move down if you are already in an advanced class. Also, you could try to tell the principal that you have a hard time focusing in the afternoon and that you need to have an "easy" class at the end of the day. If you can't get any changes made from those excuses just tell the truth---you are having trouble learning with some of the teachers you have (stretch it a little if necessary) and maybe then your principal will let you switch. But don't forget that the best opportunity to make new friends is when you have no one else to talk to. At lunch, just ask a table of friendly faces if you could join them. Start a conversation. Soon you'll have your very own group of new lunch buddies. Good Luck! :)

Maybe your parents don't want you in the same class as your cousin for any various reason you want to come up with?

Or you could ask for a different elective, and they would probably have to switch around some of your other classes to accomodate it.

If these won't work, take this as a chance to get to know some people better. You never know; they could turn out as some of your best friends!

Good luck and best wishes with whatever happens!

Say that you'll feel distracted being in a class with your realitive or just have your mom say that you had trouble with the teacher/cousin last year and should transfer into the other class

Hope that helps some!

You might be able to get your lunch period changed, thus changing your class schedule if you have a medical reason. Diabetes or blood sugar issues for example.

Honestly, the best thing to do is get your parents involved. Explain it to them why you need the switch and the counselors are not allowed to tell them no, unless there is NO room in the class. If there is someone you know in that class who is willing to switch classes with you (schedule permitting) that is allowed as well. My suggestion really is to have parents call, it is the quickest, cleanest way to get it done!

have less hate in your life.

have you ever thought about paying attention to whats being said instead of who's around you, maybe you'll do better in school without the distractions of your friend. afterall it's obvious that you have no idea how to spell (or put a proper sentance together, and even if you do you don't know how to proof read)

Poor baby! I sent my son to public school for all of 4-weeks and out he went! He was beat-up by rude children who had not been taught manners or citizenship! The teacher still write with circles to dot her "i". Finally they said my dear one was retarded!

Flipped out and he was out of that 2nd grade class. He has an IQ bouncing 200 and its bi-lateral.

Talk to your Mother again. If she will not stand up then you be your own advocate. The way it sounds we live in the same town!

How do you learn in such an environment? I tell you I briefly lived in one of the most corrupt TX cities in 6/7 grade. I was afraid to even go outside. My father said he was quitting his job if he did not get the **** out of Dodge.

We moved. Any other educational option? The world is changing slowly in America but its changing. How about Independent study? Unbelievable! ACLU? CactusLil'
