I must've answered 5 of these Ford vs. chevy question. For all those that are ignorant to say Ford sucks, let me remind you who put the automobile on the map. Henry Ford did 102 yrs. ago. He revolutionized the auto industry with the assembly line and factory and made cars affordable for people to own. Then the very same people who invented chevy's worked for Ford and started their own auto company to compete with their former employer. Soon after other car companies started forming from his idea. So for those that drives chevy should thank Ford that you are even driving a chevy. For those that only know the acronyms for Ford shouldn't even comment . If it weren't for Ford nobody would be driving. The only thing that he never predicted was how expensive gas is today. If he would've known that he would have invented an alternative fuel that wouldn't be expensive. But anyway,remember, Ford put the automobile on the map. Thank you Henry Ford. I own 3 Fords and I never have a problem. And they all have over 200,000 miles on it and I drive everyday to work to fix Acuras. I would buy Ford cars. I pick Ford. My name says it all.

OK i like ford because they are just my kind of car, i mean the mustang is most likely the most well recognized American car of them all. I have read some of the answers to this question and first and for most lets get it right not on a foggy day in Denver would the vette out do the for gt and when the 07 Shelby gt 500 hits the street well lets just say the vette comes in right before the VW and the mini cooper lol, so no sorry the vette stands no chance. but ford is America;s real icon cars.

I've owned, GMs, Fords, and Dodges. I have had the LEAST amount of trouble with GMs. Hands down.
Why else would a street rodder, Racer, or custom rod builder install a GM (Chevy) motor?

well i have owned a Chevy s-10 pickup and i have owned a Ford Ranger pickup and i will have to go with the Ford the s-10 kept breaking down and the Ford the only thing i have done to it is change the oil

I agree with robert e. Why are GM Vehicles the most demanded demolition derby vehicles then? Because they are built solid enough to win the derby.
