No I am not. Unless it is recommended by your doctor there is no reason to go no meat. Actually I'm an omnivore, or rather a pasta lover. By the way, the people who lived before the Flood were vegeterians and they were not exactly nice people, so eating a vegan diet in the hope of improving one's love of mankind may not bring the results one hopes for.

No,
'caus there's no -real- reason to don't eat meat - unless you're stupid- vegeterian say that they can't eat creatures that have a face... it's the only reason I ever heard, and it's too silly.- I think vegeterians have seen a lot of cartoons where cows and sheeps talk, cry...and I don't know...silly, silly, silly
in the other hand, we need animal proteine that we can't find in vegetables, otherwise you'll have sirious health problem... meat is good and cows are in earth to be eaten.that's all.

Yes, I'm a vegetarian. I do eat a little chicken and fish but no red meat. I agree with Johnnywentin (above). When we raised out own, I ate beef, chicken, turkey, pork, lamb, deer, goose and liver. Now that I'm not farming any more, I won't eat commercial meats because they are so contaminated with hormones, antibiotics, and filth.
It's possible to get a complete protein by combining foods with the right amino acids, e.g. corn and beans. We only need 3-4 ounces of protein a day anyway - about the size of a deck of cards. Americans consume far more meat than their bodies need. It's not a healthy lifestyle!

Yes, because of the three main reasons; vegetarianism is more environmentally friendly, more animal friendly and more health friendly. The choice is really better for everyone on a whole, if the entire world ate vegetarian, we could feed everyone, and there would be no more starving families in third world countries.

No, I eat meat because of the taste, I don't like carving into a chunk of steak but I'll eat a hamburger or a piece of chicken. I don't really like fish but i'll have a tuna fish sandwich, meat has a lot of protein in it, its really good for an active lifestyle like i have.

I am not a vegitarian although I cannot eat more than a certain amount of meat, never a full steak, I just can't eat it. I don't believe it is cruel to eat animals. PETA can have there opinion I won't critisize them unless they try to convert me.

Nope. I feel strongly that people who so severly limit their own opportunities for nutrition, while so many others starve, are simply taking part in natural selection to remove themselves from the gene pool. I'm grateful for every meal I can find.

I live near Berkeley and I see allot of vegetarians and vegans. Allot of them are bone thin and look rather sickly. That alone wants me to eat a big slab of cow meat.

No I'm not a vegetarian, because its hard. I been a veggie for a day with my friend, and it was so hard. She said it'd be a good thing for the animals because we're eating helpless cows, pigs, chickens, and all that. I would love to cause you can loose weight but its hard, for me.
