people have conveniently forgotten the tidal force of the moon and sun. As we orbit the sun and the moon orbits the earth, forces are set up in liquid water. An egg contains a lot of water. As evening falls and the suns influence wanes, pressure that was on the delicate interaction between the protein albumin and the water is disrupted. This forms a chemical chain reaction that results in the egg becoming highly unstable. In the west refrigeration helps to combat this as cold decreases the thermal energy of all molecules - they are less inclined to move apart no matter what the sun is doing. In romania, people have less fridges and rely on the coolness of the evening to stabalise the egg for the next day's use. Unfortunately this renders the egg extremely volatile after 7pm (4pm in winter) and there are many recorded poisonings due to this little known fact.
You have a fridge - your eggs are safe.

Yes, they make you want to apply for big brother, turn into a Paris H. clone, or talk like 50Cent, depending on what you had with them lol
No, seriously guess some people say that because is just not that healthy to eat heavy foods late, usually when you're on diet they tell you no to eat after 6 or 7pm. But it's OK..
Maybe she just doesn't want you to go to bed with egg breath lmao

Depends on how long the eggs have been out of the refrigerator!
If you've kept your eggs properly refrigerated, you can cook 'em up and eat them any time night or day. I've gone to the nearby restaurant and had fried eggs at 9:00 P.M. any number of times.

It's kind of an unwritten rule. Why do you eat chicken soup when you have a cold? It's not because a chicken soup has great healing powers, it's because your mom made it for you, and her mom made it for her, and so on... Your GF's mom probably told her not to eat eggs at night, cause her mom told her so, and so on... Anyhow, I heard that if you want to get rid of your husband (quietly), feed him hard boiled eggs every night, for 40 nights. And on the 41st night, he'll be dead... so there might be some truth to what your gf is saying. Be ware of the eggs!

The only reason you shouldn't eat eggs or anything else after 7pm is because your body won't digest the food before you go to bed and it will cause you to gain weight.

Any particular time zone? Have never heard that one before, I think she is trying to control you, it will be something else next week, or do you just have a habit of eating lots of eggs in the evening, something she is having a problem with?

Where does all these silly ideas come from? I have raised chickens most of my life. Never heard this one before. We sometimes eat eggs at supper or after a later night dance, etc. Never gotten sick yet.
