No, it doesn't.
Most people believe that you should drink "8 glasses a day", some think even THAT'S not enough. It's all bull. Just an old wives' tale.
You don't need to drink 8 glasses of water a day. You certainly don't need 1/2 your body weight (in oz.) per day. You don't need ANY arbitrary target amount per day. Drink when you're thirsty. Period!

it depends on what kind of weight you are looking at. drinking water only increases your "water weight". So another words the water weight is only temporary. You are actually doing the opposite by drinking lots of water. Water is a natural clense and you are detoxic -ing your body and in the long run loosing weight.

nope, but if you drink lots of water during the day, especially right before a meal you will lose weight because you won't be hunger and you won't eat. Works like a charm

Absolutely not. Water is the best thing for you and you can never have enough. Water actually becomes a diuretic if you drink enough of it. It helps clean your organs and has no calories or fat. Just make sure you are drinking purified or spring water, tap water is terrible for you.
