I have them but dont use them I have 10 cards and every month I spend something like 5£ on each of them then pay them all off in full this means that as I am paying off my cards in full every month my credit raiting remains excelent so when it comes to something I want like when I want to buy a house and stuff I will have the credit raiting to go and do it and so on it was the way I was taught not to spend more then you can pay but not to be so stupid as to asume that in todays world you can live with out credit cards ect either because everything even opening a bank or having your phone switched on is done on a credit raiting.
You dont have to get 1000s of loans or run up big bills but and I know this for a fact because I used to work in a bank and dealt with this kind of stuff (credit control ect) the more credit you have UP-TO-DATE the more credit you will be given so just as an example if your credit file says you can maintain 500£ worth of credit you could go to a bank ask for a 1000£ loan and be sure you are going to get it then if you maintain that you could get a 1500£ loan and so on and as long as you are able to maintain your credit there is no reason why the bank wouldnt lend you 1.000.000£ so long as your credit file says you are able to maintain that amount of credit
I hope that wasnt to confusing and it sort of explained how it works a little

Got rid of all mine except one which is on 0% till the end of the year, it will be paid off before then. Credit card debt is THE worst debt you can have in the way the interest is calculated, I had a 3k on one and calculated how long it would take me to pay off if I paid the minimum each month, the answer? 20 years!!!! Lets just say, I sacrificed and got it sorted!

hi, specific positioned it onto a nil% card. save around tho because of fact some agencies will fee you a proportion of the quantity to do a stability pass. as quickly as the money has been transfered onto the 0% card decrease the cardboard UP!!!! (the keep card and the hot one) this could end you spending on the hot one. Then set up a status order for £one hundred consistent with month and then it will be cleared in the six months. wish i've got helped.

Lack of financial control is the problem. If you have control of you spending, credit cards are not a hassle. If you don't control your spending, monthly bills are a hassle.

I don't charge what I can't pay in full before the due date. So, no hassles there.
Yeah I can remember hassle free days........when I was a kid, but I've grown since then.

I don't mind mine because I don't apply for every offer than comes my way. It would destroy my credit and open me up to overextending myself. Anyone with an ounce of brains and self-control isn't bothered by them.
