Well that was never the problem with my parents as they were and still are extremely good to each other and to my brother (deceased now)and I.

But now on the other hand, my ex, well that is another story all together. My daughter did tell me just that very thing. That if I did ever go back to my ex (which I never ever would) , (her dad) that she wouldn't talk to me again. I really think she would but not while he was around. My own parents even told me if I ever went back to him again that I could forget about them. Good thing that is the least thing that they have to worry about cause I would NEVER go back to him!

My Mother is happily married to my Father. Even if she were single she wouldn't be stupid enough to take back an abusive ex. The ex would be stupid to try and get her back because then I would have to kill him.

You can only tel her how you feel ONCE. Ask her if how she would feel to watch YOU do the same thing.....Then you can ask her what kind of example she wants to demonstrate to you.
Don't give her advice. She's your mom. You lack credibility.
Then just stay away from her, but let her know she can always come stay with you if she needs to.
If she doesn't think she deserves any better, she will put up with the abuse.

Of course I would talk to her. (my mother died when I was a baby so I get touchy about that subject). But I would remind her (respectfully) that she's going to be abused again and that I couldn't stand to be around to see it!

Y es, definatly!!!! be there for her, love isn't an easy thing....distance yourself...and make your feelings clear....sounds like she's gonna need your support in the future.

Sure would. I'd tell her "You should think twice about dating your abusive ex-husband."
