1. remove the stinger using a credit card or license - it prevents the stinger from staying in, as oppsed to tweazers.
2. ICE, ICE, ICE, ICE x 20min then 5 off, then 20 on
3. 500 - 800 mg of over the counter tylenol
4. Take a benadryl if the swelling does not subside, calamine can also help the itching.

If you think that you are having an allergic reaction (fast heart rate, spreading red rash, high blood pressure, sweating, swollen tongue) go IMMEDIATELY to the EMERGENCY ROOM.

Some herbalist say that baking soda and water made into a paste and placed on the sting can give some relief. The idea is that the bicarbonate draws up the toxin. Personally I would stick with the ice, the toxin is already too far into your sub q tissue to be drawn out, unless you get it within 10 minutes.

You could've typed "treat bee sting" in your search engine and gotten some useful info more quickly than posting here.

Here's what I found when I did that for you:

1. Remove the stinger as soon as possible. Use your fingers, tweezers - whatever works best.

2. Wash the site with soap and water, or clean it with alcohol.

3. Put ice or a cool, wet compress on the inflamed area.

4. Soothe the inflammation with a paste made from baking soda and water. Apply calamine lotion to help relieve itching and pain.

There's more info there, if you want to read it.

Okay, this is going to be gross but, it works. I live in GA and this is an old folks remedy: Cigarette and your spit. Take the cigarette and break open paper part with the tobacco out. Put it in your hand and spit in on the tobacco and mix until a paste. Put on the wound and place a band aid over it to hold it in place. The pain and swelling should go down in about 30 min. to 1 hour. Told you it was gross, but try it...

first, make sure the stinger is out.(if not scrape it out with the edge of a credit card or something similar)then take some ibuprofen,(for inflammation, pain and swelling)then apply a paste of baking soda and water as needed.baking soda is a drawing agent and will help get the poison out.

Make a paste with Adolph Meat Tenderizer and a little water(just enough to make a paste,) then coat it onto the bee sting and let it dry.
