uh oh- sounds like a fundamentalist type- better bail while you still got your hide- seriously- ask yourself if you really want to marry a "BOSS" and then have to spend the day at work with another "boss"- you need to get clear of the whole thing-
You could be allowing a rather rough person to take full advantage of you if your not careful- marriage is hard to get out of- avoid the abuse cycles, future children? Abuse? hello?

It depends on how he said it. If said something like, you are nothing, or whatever, then he has a definite problem. If it was less exaggerated, then ask what he means by that. If he says the same sort of thing as before, it isn;t a good thing.
Also, is he abusive? If so, then you know nothing good is going to come out of it.

Did he sound serious or sarcastic? People shouldn't joke like that honestly. It could be a sign of things to come. If its true he was serious, do you think you could make a life with him? How about with the chaos going on in the world right now, would you want a guy like that bring up your kids with you?

Tell him that your sorry, but you are going to have to quit. Tell him you've found another job in upper management and the position he's given you is no longer acceptable. Then dump his controlling butt, you deserve better and even you know that!

whaa...how bout.. if i run out at the wedding like "runaway bride", are u REALLY the boss of me?
tell him saying something like that will just make u want to disprove it, because he's not respecting that u are with him cuz u CHOOSE to be, not cuz anyone forces u to. how stupid of him.. i would never want a man to be w/ me cuz he's afraid of me.. if he wants to leave me, fine! i'd rather have someone who wanted to be w/ me as his choice, cuz he truly loves me.

respond the way you think is right, if you dont like his way of thinking or he thinks he will own you, leave him. there are so many nice men out there.
