My husband is agnostic. Our son is 16... and that's exactly what we do, is show him there are many possibilities and he will, eventually, have to make that choice. Even if it is to become agnostic or atheist. Doesn't matter...

BTW, I'm pagan.

My mom remained distant to Christianity. She would close the door in the face of any that came to the door. When my parents wanted to go to a church, they perferred those that were not talking about Jesus all of the time. They never stuck with it.

I expressed a desire to learn, but that was not encouraged.

If God wants your daughter, He will let her know. It would be better if she got her direction set, perhaps by making friends in Sunday School. that might set everything off in a good way.

I am a Christian by the way.

Just don't go through your daughters life preventing her from attending if she wants to. I don't know how old she is, but if she can communicate to you, you might just ask her.

If she says yes she would like to go the Church, love her enough to take her to one.

Sorry, I forgot the 1.5 part.

I teach my daughter about God because I believe in God, I don't teach her the heavy stuff yet but things she can understand, when my daughter grows up she can make her own choice indepent of me as to what she wants to believe.

It is wrong not to teach your child about God. Your daughter has not reached the age of accountability yet. I pray she hears of God's love for her then. I will keep her in my prayers. Peace!

There's nothing wrong with it. If my boyfriend and I had children, we'd tell them about our views and let them make their own religious decisions.

I do. And I offer her the respect of choosing what makes sense to her. And I respect her choices.

You're kid will hear her fair share of god talk as she gets older.
