Samuel Johnson, English Author & Lexicographer stated:

"Every man has the right to utter what he thinks is truth, and every other man has the right to knock him down for it. Martyrdom is the test."

Your thoughts on this....?

Yes... Id agree... As for the Apostles, they uttered they believed to see Jesus risen from the dead, the scoffers knocked them down... The Apostles held fast into martyrdom. They passed the test.

Knocking down? Martyrdom?
Don't think we need to go straight there.

Are you up to the test of martyrdom?

A society may only succeed if it will defeat that which opposes it unto death. I think that's common sense. To question it is to question the relevance of your own society.

Its true. We can state what we believe is truth, but we also have the right to prove others wrong. I really don't know about the Martyrdorm thing though...

Agreed, yes, even about the knocking down part. I, for one, certainly wont be forced to either agree or stay silent, which is the only other option.

Jesus Christ sealed his death with the testimony of his blood.

Only those who are willing to die for what they believe in have chosen one way or the other.

Joseph Smith also died with his blood as a testimony to the truthfulness of the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Traitors and tyrants have fought them in vain.

Some people feel justified in killing someone for cutting them off on the freeway...aren't ideas more important than driving habits?
