That depends wetter or not you believe in god.
If you do, than probably no. The world in all its forms became when god created it, but there is no way of determining wetter he started with this world or not. One thing is for certain, there was one world that was the first and had nothing before it.

If you don't, than definitely yes. Everything you look at is seen trough the eyes of science. If you pinpoint the moment in time when this world begun there is always two seconds before that, another two seconds before that etc. So that what ever existed before this world has to be some other world and so back to infinity with no start whatsoever .
I prefer the second theory, you chose for yourself.

Imagine this,

The universe is currently made from expanding matter and energy that has created the galaxy and planets that we see today. As the universe grow the energy slows into matter that collects and exerts a greater gravitation force. All the matter starts to collapse in on itself until there is one single point where all the matter and energy in the universe is collected at a single point. This then explodes and expands again....

What is stopping that exact same energy and mass from expanding in the exact sameway as it did the previous time and collapsing the sameway.

Thus not only has there been a world here before this one, but what is the entire universe has been here before in exactly the sameway.

It's seriously theorized there ARE other "dimentions" of our world out there---and a simple control test done at Stanford seems to back up the theory into probable fact!!!

As for other physical existant planets like Earth: I believe such a planet(s) DO exist.....they just are way to far from our Earth to know for sure.

Scripture seems to indicate that the world was teaming with life and inhabited by angels before it was encased in ice, destroyed and recreated for Man.

... how do you mean, exactly? Like another universe? Or other planets? I'm sure plenty of other planets formed before this one, maybe even some with life on them. Other universes/dimensions? I don't care to speculate, but it's an interesting subject to read up on.

Probably. Maybe that's the world where God built people out of clay and ribs etc.

Yes. In the Pre-existence, we were given the option of how we would live our lives and our free agency to do so. After we were born, most of this knowledge was "veiled" over.

According to one cosmology theory, yes -- it posits an endless cycle where universes come into existence, end and then a new one starts all over.
