when someone tells you that they love you but then go back to their ex-girlfriend because they think you're to young for them...how do you know if they really meant what they said?

Did you have sex with this person? If you did then that is why they said they love you and then went back to the ex. If they respect you with not having sex and went back to ex then maybe that person feels you are just too young. Sometimes that happens. But in any case if they respect you enough to NOT have sex with you and decided that you were too young then that is a gentlemen and repect him in his decision that he did go back to the ex and was honest with you. There are many more dates waiting!Good Luck
