hm I have NV-GS21 it is almost the same... It says so in the mannual. well I have it for nearly 4 months and it has been working great. I love the video& snapshot (photo) feature where u can record and take photos at the same time. Cons: self timer: it has to be readjusted after every photo.

first of all, Handycam is a line of camcorders by Sony. handycam does not equal camera. it equals a type of a camera. second, i could give the very least of the information about the nv-gs27, or i can give a website that has that info that you can read yourself. well you dont really have a choice sorry, so heres the address www.camcorderinfo.com
go to the search bar and type in nv-gs27. just remember that its the pal version (europe). if you plan to get a ntsc version (north america and japan), then search pv-gs27. hope this helps!

being satisfied or not with the device and its functions differs entirely from each person. But this i can tell you, since it is a miniDV camcorder, it will be more than satisfactory as to recording footages due to its clearness even in longplay. Just learn the basics of how to shoot and it's all in the bag!
