please dont waste your time telling me about my health or whatever .. is a low carb diet effective ?
if i am 150lbs now and go on a low carb diet for a week and drink about 6-8 16oz bottles of water a day , how much would you expect me to lose ? and aswell if you have any tips (not other diet suggestions) TIPS .. on how i can be sucessful , do tell . thank you .

yes.... bodybuilders have been using low carb diets for years to get there body fat down to about 4% in as little as 8 weeks...

I'llsay this.Ignore the book called body for life.And please ignore anyone who tells you that you cannot live without carbs.You body makes glucose from other macro nutrients through gluco neogenisis.Low carb diets work very well and as a weight lifter is what I do during a cutting phase.Keep the protein intake hiogh.Your body can make the glucose and glutamic acid that your brain needs.

You don't want to hear this, I know, but 20% of your carbs go to support your brain....

increase your protein, decrease carbs, lots of water and exercise so the protein will turn fat to fuel......
