I have 2 windows in my bedroom that are sides by side (the shar a corner). The problem I have is that I want to hang curtains but am unsure of how this can be done. Is there a special kind of curtain rod that is made for corners in a room?

They actually make standard corner joints for this purpoase. I know you can get at www.potterybarn.com. Here's the info:

STANDARD CORNER JOINT
Small $14.00
Large $19.00
Curve a single drape smoothly around a corner with this rounded iron hardware. It connects our PB Standard or Vintage Rods into a continuous line. Use small joint with the back rod of our PB Standard Double Rod; Large joint can be used with Vintage Rod, PB Standard Rod and the front rod of the PB Standard Double Rod.

Bronze finish is shown; also available in Pewter finish.

If you can obtain a copy of the Sears Catologue
they will have an assortment of curtain rods
for a wide style of windows this way you can
see if a product would work for you. Otherwise
call a drapery shop for odd window rods they
would love to assist you.

yes, there is a rod that is made for corners. I have a few of them in my home. I believe you can get them at The Great Indoors, or any curtain place should have them... (places like this --> http://www.curtain-corner.com/acatalog/bay_poles.html)
