He was a guy. He did something that people started following him and in the process they made up stories and a book and made him god. He was just a guy.

"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God...All things came into being by Him...And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth."
(John 1: 1,3,14) "He (The Father) made Him(Jesus) to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him".(2 Corinthians 5:21)
What I believe is not nearly as important as what is written.

jesus is 'the only-begotten Son of God, the only Son produced by Jehovah alone. This Son is the firstborn of all creation. By means of him all other things in heaven and on earth were created,. He is the second-greatest personage in the universe. It is this Son whom Jehovah sent to the earth to give his life as a ransom for mankind, thus opening the way to eternal life for those of Adam’s offspring who would exercise faith, as well as settign the example for rightous ones to follow in modern and first century times.. This same Son, restored to heavenly glory, now rules as King, with authority to destroy all the wicked and to carry out his Father’s original purpose for the earth. The Hebrew form of the name Jesus means “Jehovah Is Salvation”; Christ is the equivalent of the Hebrew Ma·shi′ach (Messiah),'meaning “Anointed One.”
his heavenly name, is 'Micheal'. as the bible calls him 'Micheal the arch angel.'
thanks to jesus, we all have an opertunity to be forgiven of our sins and reverse the adamic sin and death adam gave us all. thanks to him we can truelly get close to god, without worryaing about sacrificing and such as the Isrealites had to, because jesus is 'the ultimate sacrifice for human sin', his 'blood' gives us all a chance to repent and get close to god through prayer and pure worship thanks to his enduring free of sin on earth, and dieing faithfully to ggod on the torture stake.
i hope that awnsered your question. any other questions, or wish to disscuss anythign, please feel free to I.M me.
