can i put permanent hair dye over demi permanent and get the same results?

my hair is semi permanently dyed red and if i put blonde on it will it show?

ok my hair is naturally very light blonde
and the last time i had red in it it washed out pretty good afterawhile. right now its a peachy color the red has almost washed out all the way but i fear it might not wash all the way out this time....could i use it?

It depends on your natural colour. It will definitely show, the question is what will colour will it be? If you an a natural brunette you are not going to become platinum blond in one try, trust me. Unless you are ready to burn and dry your hair, then I say - go ahead girl! In any case, no matter how much they advertise all those do-it-yourself stuff you can never achieve the same result when your hair is professionally done by a good stylist. So, save some money and splurge it on a good service!

It will turn like a light pinkish color. I would recommend waiting! Should only take a few days to a week.
