I heard that some people think that Saab owners are gay. Is this true?

You can't stereotype.....I've owned a few Saabs and I'm not gay or boring or whatever.
Saab is a cool car, they're all turbocharged and fun to drive. They do try to compete with BMW and maybe that's where the snobs come in but again, you can't stereotype.

........and since when is Subaru associated with Lesbians? I have never seen any lesbian in a WRX, it's mostly young kids.

That's a new one!! I've never heard of Saab being a gay car. In fact, I've never known any gay Saab owners.

The repair costs are not as expensive as they once were and the cars are anything but boring to drive. As some people have mentioned, the only potential stigma is being considered a snob. I think that's from the fact that you're driving a European designed and built car, not a run of the mill domestic.

Gay? I can say that the Saab club meets and conventions I have been too are a pretty "hetro" experience.

Also, my wife works in the fashion industry as a designer. As such she works with a larger number of gay men and not a signle one of her coworkers has a Saab.

I think people saying that car X is a "gay car" says a lot more about them than it does the people driving the car.

No. It's true in dumbass downtown ghettos where folks have no brains. Get out of the ghetto and folks don't act like that.
