No! you can only get smarter and smarter. Reading helps, you learn as you read. Non fiction that is, fiction is for romantics and poets. Answering a question with a dumb answer, just shows a lack of thought, Engage first your brain and then your tongue will give a smart answer.

Well firstly you need to learn to spell. If you don't use your mind you will loose it. That's why it's important to exercise it daily. It is better to read and do puzzles than to watch TV or movies. Challenging your mind will help it stay active.
