better to be safe than sorry. If it happened at work, they're paying for the shot not you. Go for it.

Chances are you don't. Tetanus shots are usually an issue with puncture wounds, especially if the item that punctured the skin was dirty or rusty. Also, a tetanus shot is usually good for 10 years. If you have had one in the past 10 years, you're probably fine. You may still want to check with a doctor though.

I'm certain that obtaining the fowl pox is alot worse than getting the shot. Chicken pox can depart scars on you, the shot would possibly not. The tetanus shot isn't too unhealthy however your arm possibly just a little gentle for a few days. You will probably be best!

tetnus shots last for 10 years, if you have had one in that time, you should be ok. also you should be ok as long as the scissors wern't rusted ot anything. plus tetnus shots really hurt. but if you took a chunk out of your finger i would go to the doctor anyway because you might need stiches and antibiotics would stop any infection.

You should have a tetanus shot every ten years to prevent a disease known as lockjaw.

Tetnus shots are good for up to 7years. If you dont knw where those scissors have been or if they were dirty, I would suggest getting a Tetnus shot

Yeah, But make sure you fill out an incident report. I'm sure your HR people will want to know just in case. They can cover the cost since it hapened at work, so you need to document.

Probually not. Depending on your age. They are good for many years. If you can't remember when you had your last one, it wouldn't hurt to get one. (Well the shot might hurt but it will put your mind at ease.)
