it's considered gay so they generally don't say it. However, being judgemental and objective or it's some really hot guy, they tend to keep their opinions to themselves.

I can only speak for myself. First, it does not matter what girls do. I can tell you that when I think of a good looking man it is usually followed by the idea that they must have a line of girls who want to be with them and i should be so lucky.
In relation to the last part of your question, you already know the answer to that one. If the answer is confusing and you are afraid get some help from a psych. Human behavior is their world and they can make sense out of your situation.

dave nevaro admits to "man crushes" and he's not gay (bi maybe, but not gay) and he's totally hot so i'd have to say a man who is truly secure in his sexuality could easily admit when another man is good looking without being gay at all
can a gay man think a woman is attractive or is that totally straight?

Just looking at someone and saying, "oh, they are attractive" doesn't make you gay. I know that some guys compare themselves to other guys, but they won't admit it because they have too much pride and don't want to seem 'gay'

I'm a straight male, and I can tell when other men are attractive. I find George Clooney attractive even though I would never have sex or anything with him.
Just as many men find other men attractive as women find women attractive. Men are just less likely to admit it.

That's gay all right. We might notice that some guy is good looking, but that's mostly sizing up our competition.

IF THE PERSON KNOWS HOW TO ACCEPT "BEAUTIFUL THINGS"...and that I mean, includes "men" that looks "beautiful in the eyes", MAY THE JUDGE OR THE VIEWER BE OF THE SAME SEX...nothing matters!

I do not find other guys attractive at all. I could not even guess as to who is attractive and who is not.
