So theres this guy I know sorta and i guess you could say i have a crush on him and we talk online and we see each other around but i wouldnt say we have a strong and established friendship, more like a friendly friendship you know? hes a year older than i, and whenever i see him he usually stares at me, same with his friend who seems to think he knows me but weve never really talked before... if a guy stares wut does that mean usually? any tips for getting to know him better, or how to casually suggest a way to hang out sometime without making it sound like a big deal and just to sound casual? guys especiall please help!

ok so far these answers have been great and ive gotten a lot of ideas... i dunno if this means anything but like we dont talk online a ton and i dont like initiating the conversations a ton because well i figure, if he wanted to talk to me he would right? and he will sometimes but then we go a while without a word... is it because he doesnt wanna talk or is he too scared? and in a guys opinion, is asking to go to a movie coming on too strong?

Guys will always stare at some pretty girl, or woman, letting their imagination run wild.
Some young men, are able to text or IM, with no problem, as it's not a face to face meeting. Talking to the girl, is a lot harder for them, as they tend to be afraid, of looking foolish, or doing something stupid in front of the girl.
You are more mature than they are, so next time you see them, go over and talk to him.
Depending on the time of day, ask if they care to go for a coffee, or a soda, something casual.That way, you can both get to know each other better, and move on from there.

I think they stare at you because you must be awfully pretty, and they are intimidated and shy. They really don't know what to say. Just be yourself. Get a group of friends together and casually mention that you all will be at a pizza place or burger joint, and if he wants to stop by that'd be great. That way, you leave it up to him. If he shows up, great, if he doesn't, then maybe he had something else to do, or was really too shy to attend. Don't worry about stuff like this. Boys are really fickle, meaning they like things one day, but not the next. Girls are like that too. Just have fun, and just be friends for now. You'll have plenty of time for romance later.

When guys stare it normally means that they are distracted by your beauty(or it could be that you have yesterday's lunch all over your face lol jk) but I suggest the movies, skating, maybe a lunch at a deli or cafe'. best of luck.
