FIGHTING IS PERFECTLY NORMAL YOUR CAT LOOKS AT THE NEW ONE AS A NEW MEMBER TO THE HOUSE HOLD SO THEY MAY BE EXPERIENCING A LITTLE BIT OF SIBLING RIVALRY. JUST TRY TO MAKE SURE THEY DON'T CRIPPLE OR KILL EACH OTHER. A LITTLE BIT OF FIGHTING IS ALSO SOMETIMES PART OF THE COURTSHIP WITH SOME CATS. AT LEAST THAT'S HOW IT WAS WITH MY MALE AND FEMALE WHO HAD THREE LITERS TOGETHER.

very normal.

i had a female cat (about a year old) and then got a male cat (about 2 months old) and it took nearly a week and a half for them to work things out.

they did fight a bit. i was worried that the female would hurt the male but she didn't. she probably just felt threatened because there was another cat in her space. the kitten just thought she was playing with him so he would always go close to her and bother her.

i must say though that introducing the second cat changed the personality of the female cat quite a bit. it's been over a year now that they've been together and she's just now coming back to herself.

They'll likely fight forever.

But seriously, don't mate cats - there is such a dire overpopulation of cats in the world, get it fixed (regardless of how "pretty" you think it is) and go to the humane society and bring home a stray.

Cats are significantly better trickier than dogs. once you've a cat it incredibly is detect to being on my own you won't be able to easily herald yet another and anticipate it to be all satisfied and pleasant. they are diverse than dogs and are organic solitary creatures. once you say scuffling with you mean all out enamel and claw no longer taking area in? attempt isolating them, placed the female in a diverse room and rub her down with a towel. Set the towel lower than your cats nutrients bowl or in different position he likes to spend his days. (rub it round their cheeks, it truly is the position they fragrance glans are placed) After that attempt to get them to greet by ability of a door. If there is no hissing or something, enable them meet again. And as on your male, he could be only no longer in contact in her. she will be able to bypass into warmth again and she or he will be able to tease him and he will quickly chew the hook. they could have already had sometime. an outstanding style of cats get in scuffles after slightly mating. i'm no longer certain why. lol. only supply it time. (: by ability of how, you incredibly do not ought to attend to neuter him till hes were given some kitty booty. once you've a woman, he will nonetheless attempt to mate yet he will no longer be able to populate. till you want him to mate only to reproduce him.
