I'm 19 the guy I have been talking to is 30. My parents say no but my heart says yes. Is it really too much of a stretch like everyone has been telling me? I am very mature for my age and he is really silly for his. We match up quite nicely. What do you think?

When I think of how much I changed between 19 and 25, 25 to 30, etc... I'd caution you that it won't last. Chances are at 21, you'll want to check out the bars/clubs with your friends and sow your wild oats. He's been there done that...

If you're looking for some fun, go for it. If you're looking for a deep meaningful relationship, you are still so young! Even at a mature 19. You just have so many changes you'll be going thru, and people don't tend to change with you.

I did it. He was right for me at the time even though people didn't like him. I'm glad I chose him and I'm even more glad we're not together anymore.
Go with your heart, as long as he's not a bad guy. It probably won't last but you never know. Have fun, stay safe and let the older man teach you a thing or two about life.

If you love the guy, it's fine. But if you're not sure then don't do it. My advice is to give the situation time and see what happens.
