Find out exactly how large the file size is from each picture.

If a picture = 1 MB then you can only store 14 on a 14MB disk.

Its actually very simple division.

1 Kilobyte = 1024 bytes
1 Megabyte = 1024 Kilobytes
1 Gigabyte = 1024 Megabytes
1Terrabyte= 1024 Gigabytes

You do not give us much information on what device you are using. If you have a camera with 14MB internal memory, then you obviously need to purchase a memory card (512MB is a good start) because 14 MB will not allow you to take too many photos.
Don't forget to always set your photo quality to the highest available resolution.

It totally depends on the size of the photos and how you're taking them.

I presume your talking about like a Camera or Camera-Phone memory card?

I would say "a fair few". Give it a go with like random "Test" photos anyway and see how it goes.

Good luck.

Depends on your camera. If you take a shot at 4mpx
it will result (depeding in format 2x3 or 4x5 size) in
a file size of 1.2 (normal) to 1.6 mb. (set on fine) per picture,
which will result in 9 or 10 imges. If you use 2mpx. you
will be able to take roughly 18 images.
