Hey Nichole,
Can you see that not all Momons even know that the Bishops and the higher lever church members know more about their believes? Its because they know that its so abusurd that they can't share it with them cuz they would QUIT! Most don't know cuz they keep it secret. Crazy Mormons. They even have their own book BOOK OF MORMON. Thats totally wrong. There should only be the HOLY BILBE>

I am a Mormon, and I have never heard of a "higher level Mormon" can you specify a little more what you mean by that?
What I believe about Adam and Eve, is basically what you can read in Genesis (our church generally doesn't give Eve such a bad wrap as she gets in some other religions though)
And the basics of Heaven - where the good people go. (the really bad folks go to outer darkness - or what's more commonly called Hell)There is also the doctrine that after the final judgment the good people can go to one of three degrees of glory (or of heaven) as the Bible talks about - a glory compared to the sun, another to the moon, and another to the stars depending on how righteous they were.
Thats the basics, if that didn't answer your question try searching the official church website: www.lds.org.
best wishes.

I can only tell you what I have been told by others
They believe there is three levels of heaven & no hell. You can only reach the highest level if you are Mormon and did all the works that the Mormon church tells you to do on earth. There you will become a god (only if you are a man) If you are female, you have to be invited by a man.
As far as Adam and Eve - first man and woman but Adam is really the angel Michael.............

Probably the same thing that the "lower level mormons" believe about Heaven and Adam and Eve: That Heaven is where God lives and Adam and Eve were the first people on the earth.
To Raymond: Nope, that is patently untrue. I don't know where you heard that stuff, but it's not a part of the LDS church.
To writerkr: Nope, Adam isn't God. And in the Bible, Jesus DOES teach that we will inherit "all that the Father has". Was He lying?

Heaven: This term has several meanings in the scriptures. It is first of all the place where God lives and the future home of the saints. It also means the expanse around the earth, as the heaven. It is usually thought of as being "up", or above the earth. In the sense of being God's home and the ultimate place for the faithful, it is clearly distinguished from paradise, which is the temporary abode of the faithful spirits of persons who have lived and died on this earth. Jesus visited paradise after his death on the cross, but on the third day thereafter, he informed Mary that he had not yet been to the Father (see Luke 23:39-44:John 20:17)
Adam. The name Adam is given to the firsst man of the human family on this earth as cited in the account of the creation in the books of Genesis, Moses, and Abraham, and in many instances in the NT, Book of Mormon, and Doctrine and Covenants. From these scriptures we learn that Adam is the father and patriarch of the human race on the earth. The aggregate of the scriptures certifies that his transgression in the garden of Eden, although disignated as a "fall" was necessary to the advancement and spirtiual progress of humanity on this earth, and Adam rightly should be honered, not denigrated. Adam is the Ancient of Days and is also known as Michael. He is the archangel and will come again to the earth in power and glory as the patriarch of the human family, preparatory to the second coming of Jesus Christ.
From latter-day revelation we learn that Adam had a pure and perfect language that was both written and spoken (Moses 6:5-6); that he was taught the gospel of Jesus Christ; that he was baptized in water and received the Holt Ghost; and that he was visited personally by the Lord.
Eve. The name given in Gen2:21-22 to the first woman. The name means "the mother of all living" (Moses 4:26) She was the wife of Adam and will share eternal glory with him. Eve's recognition of the necessity of the fall and the joys of redemption is recorded in Moses 5:11. Latter-day revelation confirms the biblical account of Eve and gives us an awareness of her nobility.

According to my bishop and a few different missionaries...
There are three levels of heaven based on the works you do here on earth. Adam is the Ancient of Days who sits on the throne so I guess Adam is God, but they also believe God the Father has a father and a wife and a mother and a whole spiritual family and they cannot answer where the chain of Gods ends, who created the first God? If Adam became a God and we can all become Gods when we die and reach the Celestial Kingdom, who created the God who created God and who created Adam? There are questions that they can't answer and they believe absurd things not based in the bible.

I saw a tape once that purported to expose the inner sanctum or higher level beliefs of th Mormon religion. It said that according to thier beliefs, when the Devil was cast out of Heaven, all of his followers/believers were given Black skin and curly hair. They believe they are redeeming the souls of Blacks when they are welcomed into the religion. That's all I know about that.
