in cheerleading, we need to be very flexible. i have a hard time doing back bridges. im not real flexible either. can anyone tell me ways to help me.

i would say to stretch everyday [[until you get it]] and do it for a long time soo you can get it faster.\
hold your back bridge for a mintue and once you get better do it for longer periods of times. manily stretch your arms, back, and anything else you need to work on.

...start out with basic stretches...especially touching your toes while sitting down and standing up -this not only stretches your hamstrings and glutes but also your back...also work on core exersizes, strengthen your abs and obliques...basically just stretch untill you are slightly uncomfortable for at least a minute at a time and gradually you will be able to do more and more and become more flexible. Warm your body up some before stretching first. Stretching cold muscles can be as dangerous as not stretching during exercise.

you just have to stretch. force yourself more and more each time. when i was in gymnastics my coach actually pushed me on my shoulders so i could do the splits to the floor.
