I personally find balut not at all appealing.

For the record, the eggs you buy at the grocery store are not fertilized and contain no fetus.

those are the only kind I will eat,I am a carnivore and eggs are just disgusting unless there is some meat and blood in there,then they are tolerable

i saw them eating that once on fear factor, they were called "balut eggs" of course it looked so tasty i went straight home to the farm, snatched one out from under the chicken and had it for dinner. mmmm tasty!

No one, the eggs have not been fertilized by a rooster. So they are not fetuses but just ovum.
