I've liked this guy for quite some time now, and it seems like he feels the same, but whenever I try to get ahold of him, he ignores me. He gawks at me openly whenever we're in the same place and when I catch his eye, he'll hold my gaze until I look away and even then, I can feel him still looking at me.
I don't see what other reason he could possibly have for staring at me like that; I'm sure he's interested in me.
So, do you think he's interested? And if so, why won't he talk to me? There is a slight age difference--I'm a grade above him. One of my friends thought maybe he found that intimidating. Do you think that's a possibility?

My goodness it's GREAT to read a question "What's wrong with him." Usually the girls ask what's wrong with me!! You got it right!!
Now to the question. Very possible he's scared of dating a person who is older and more mature (ahem) than he is. He's interested as sure as God made little green apples. Corner him (serious as a heart attack here) and say, "I'll buy you a coke (or whatever) if you'll buy me one." Can't tell you pleased I would have been had that happened to me. What's the worst that can happen? I suppose he could faint dead away but not likely.

No, I do not consider you are within the mistaken. You desire to get to understand extra approximately him through getting to understand his peers, and a get together is not out of the world of fair requests. I could be curious as to why he turns out so reluctant so that you can meet his peers. You're now not within the mistaken right here. I would not always say that he's both, however he does appear a bit shady and cussed.

I would say he's intimidated by you. Boys, usually are at their age, assuming you are both in school and you being slightly older than he is.
We all hate to be rejected, so if you want to get to know him better, you will have to make the first move.
If you don't know his name yet, next time you see him, at school, introduce yourself to him.
Ask him about some school project or class, ask if he is any good at English, Math, pick a subject, and tell him, you could use some help with that subject. It needn't be true, but it's a way to breah the ice with him.

havent you heard??? its the sadie hawkins decade so if you want to know the truth you had better find some old down home country girl SPIRIT or youll be waiting until 2010 for your answer. by the way he does find you as attractive as you feel he does and im sure hes chomping at the bit but he has learned his lessons well on how to get what he wants without making a complete fool out of himself. no only means yes when your HOT SWEATY AND NAKED !!!!!! so stop being afeared to give yourself to him ... jerk him up by the arm and claim him as your very own one and only and i guarentee that fool aint fool enough to turn you away.

from what you've described, the guy's just shy. He's probably afraid of rejection. If you don't mind being untraditional, try asking him out. (You'll be glad you did it). And about the being older thing...it may be a minor factor but shouldn't really matter.

yea that is a possibilty but he is probably scared that u'll reject him so if ur interseted in him then call his name in the halls and tell him and he should open up
