Christians have every right to try to talk you into conversion. They don't have the right to force you to convert. Forcable conversion is not what the Pope is advocating. Are you so weak that you can't disagree with someone's persuasions without being offended??? So what if they want you to be a Christian? I have Mormons come to my door all the time. Big deal. Ask them leave or you'll call the police. Tell people you're happy as you are but it's also ok that they're happy with themselves. They think they are helping you. Learn to end a conversation firmly and get a spine, people.

You mean conversion as in "an experience associated with the definite and decisive adoption of a religion" (merriam webster)
Isn't it Jesus order to all Christians to go out in the world and tell everyone about the good news hoping they would "convert"?

All religions (and atheism) try to convert people to their "better" way.
The Pope was defending this right which had begun to be challenged in India.
This line has been crossed by millions before and will be crossed by millions again. This is nothing new.
With love in Christ.

The pope is JUST a man. A man who is wrong. He can say or do anything he pleases. It is the fool that lessons.
1 Timothy 1:3
As I besought thee to abide still at Ephesus, when I went into Macedonia, that thou mightest charge some that they teach NO other doctrine.

All religion is one . The world is one home . All are members of one human family . All creation is an organic whole . No man is independent of this whole .Man makes himself miserable by separating from others .
Separation is death .
Unity is eternal life .
Hence why conversion ?
