No your fine> Just ignore your friends. If you have friends, then he can't be that dominating can he. If your happy that is what matters. If your friends can't see it then. We'll to heck with them. As long as he isn't telling you what you can and can't do,or hitting you then I say go for it if you like him. REMEMBER: Opposites attract.

There's usually going to be a "stronger" person in a relationship, but that doesn't mean that the weaker one can't be assertive. Things may seem OK now, but if you still live in the Land of Passive-Agressiveness months down the road things in your relationship could change (badly). For your own benefit, tell him where you want to eat every once in awhile. Then you can tell your friends (truthfully) that your bf isn't completely dominating the relationship. But really your friends are just trying to look out for you, so give them a break by reassuring them that if you didn't want the relationship to be this way that you wouldn't get out of it. I hope everything works out for you.

If you were unhappy in anyway I would say there is a problem. Usually when one friend gets a boyfriend, there can be a little jealousy, so they look for any fault they can wanting you back for theirselves. This is not usually done on purpose, but My bestfriend and I have never liked each others boyfriends. I would also like to say be careful and make sure you don't give in to much, men are easily spoiled and sometimes will take more and more, until you feel you have nothing left to give.

It's ok to be easygoing & laid back, but you need to be careful not to let him dominate your entire life. As a simple test, or spotcheck, you should try & have an opinion about SOMETHING periodically; even if it's just the type of food you feel like eating, & see whether he accepts your choices as well, or if he just bulldozes right over your opinion.

If your Boyfriend is not domineering and you have a open relationship then see if you could be a little bossy to him in front of your friends so that they will get off your back

No. The only way it'd be wrong is if you DIDN'T want him to dominate. If he's controlling, then you have a problem. Don't worry about it right now.

Sometimes friends pick up on things that we don't - that's why girlfriends are so important. You might want to look up some websites that have emotional abuse quizzes on them. That's one way to make sure your relationship is healthy.

usually laid back people have slaveowners as lovers. it's not supposed to work out that way, but let's face it, a laid back person is too laid back to get anything done. therefore, they need a man (or b---ch) to take control of the direction of the relationship.

Honey, if you are happy, then tell your friends to go f**k themselves. It's none of their business.
