I guess it is a maturity thing. My wife and I both travel for work. She leaves for a couple of weeks at a time sometimes. This last February, my wife and i saw each other only on the weekends, due both of our travel schedules, and we are now having a baby in November. That means she got pregnant in Feb.
Being apart from your significant other gives you time to do things that you may or may not do with them around. We are usually so busy that I don't have time to play PlayStation, so when my wife is out of town I play a lot.
Don't stress out about, plan something special to do when she gets back and then you will have something to look forward to.

You have to trust the person and vice versa. If you two really care for each other and you think it's worth the try to continue this kind of relationship than go ahead. It could be something great. The most important advise that I could give you is to be honest. If at some point you feel the need to see other people, let the other person know. Don't cheat!

Personally I am a patient person. I've had to be seperated from my girl for years before (Navy) and the way I coped with it, is by sending her stuff writing her talking on the phone emailing her and occasionally watching porns (to past the time and get my fill of sex)

Talk to her as much as you can, and though it may sound odd, maybe write a journal of what you have been doing while she is gone and give it to her when she gets back, make it seem so real though she will feel like she is right there with you.

I've been through worst so stop crying and get more friends! I couldn't see my best friend for a year! Crying doesn't do anything. There's more to life than just her. But is this your girlfriend or best friend? Are you dating them? If you are tell them you love them. Get them off your mind exercise listen to music tlak to othjer people. Get a date! Get your nails done and talk to them they always have good advice! I love it! Did that help?
