As for how much--- That depends on what kind and how rare is it. If you want a Persian, they are not too bad maybe $100.00. A rarer breed of cat can cost you $750.00. The price varies too on if you only want a pet or you want to start breeding or take Fluffy on the show circuit.

Below is a site for you to check out. I had a white with amber eyes once. He was beautiful. But you do need to brush them regularly to keep their fur tangle free. When it gets knotty it is a pain for you and the cat to get it out.
They can be rather expensive!! Mine cost over $300.00 and that was back in the 70"s.

um thats a vague desciption, could be a persian or just a simple long haired cat!!! if you mean a pedigree cat i think you should expect to pay anything up to £200 some are more expensive than others.
