Even if she saw something, the chance of it being something to worry about is very small. And it might just be that she didn't get a good shot due to movement or something. Worrying won't help.
My wife had breast cancer and got a mastectomy. While that is traumatic, you will have plenty of time to think about things if ever there is a diagnosis, not now in advance of anything. There is probably nothing to worry about.

as a breast cancer survivor having had MANY mammograms, no, there is nothing to be worried about. Sometimes, due to the density of your breasts, the tech can't get a good picture so they reposition you. Believe me, if they saw something the least bit suspicious, they would have scheduled you for a sonogram immediately. Don't worry.

If you knew what a crap shoot it was to get a good picture (positioning, exposure etc.) yu would be amazed that they don't have to do more retakes! I wouldn't worry about that. When the radiologist comes in and starts talking about pathology seen on the film in front of you, then is the time to get worried. One did that to me and I didn't like it!

Depending on if this was your first mammography, how many years had it been since the previous one, did they have old films to review, do you have fibrocystic breast, are you obese? These are just a few of the reasons to take extra pictures. You have the right to ask questions! You can also call the person who ordered the test and question them.

Not necessarily. Many times the pictures are not clear so they have to take again in a different postion. You want them to get all angles so they dont miss anything too. Not to worry! Hang in there!

Nope. If she did not get a good image, she had to try again. I had a woman friend tell me that it almost MUST hurt. If she did not press the breast flat enough, the image will not serve.
Regarding the discomfort, she says, better they do this right, than miss anything.

Don't worry about it until you've got a reason to. It was probably nothing more serious than poor positioning in the first place.

Not at all. It means she didn't get all of the tissue in the first picture and needed to try again. Try not to worry unless you have to worry!

No, Sometimes images are not clear. Better they take lots of pictures now than call you back because the images aren't clear. Better be safe than sorry.

Probably not. She likely just wasn't getting a clear enough image. Try not to worry about it :)
