I don't think they're weird, and I respect them, but I steer clear of 'em. "Emo" is spreading like the plague where I live. I can't BELIEVE all these normal plain joes are turning Emo all of a sudden. Emos are kind off stereo-typed, too. Only SOME of them cry and cut and are gay... But, still, the ones that do cry and cut need to buck up. They get quite annoying after a while. D:< Those loser-faces that cry everyday.

If you mean weird = different, yeah, emos are different than that majority of the emotionless, careless people out there. But is emo just a label?

Theyre only wierd when they are tryin to fit into a stereotype and will do anything to get there. Alot of the emos only do it to get attention.. but the ones that ACTUALLY are emo and dont do it to be cool is not wierd. there expressing thereself and are an indivdual and i have alot of respect fot that. But the ones that dress in black, cut there wrists, and think cussing is cool, they can kiss my @$$...

hmmm....anyways...i think it is a cry for attention....most have no clue as to what it is until they are subjected around it..as you notice they are usually outcast...a group of them together not associated with the larger side of society...the dress code is different than a normal person would wear even if not following a trend. As in a dress code one can dress the way one likes..but to associate it with a certain group is in itself an attention coupe same as a yuppie would dress himself. Ii believe this group of people are in it self..attention seekers if not by association.

Well I don't think that they should be the way they are. The act all goth and stuff, but thats the way they are so I can't say they are weird! cuz I can't judge people. In fact everyone on this page who is judging them is making a sin! It's God's Job to judge people . . . . . .What does this have to do with hair and why is it in the hair section!?!?

no i dont think they are weird at all. ppl say that emo kids slit their wrists and cry and spend their days saying im so lonely and i hate my life. they really arent like that. some ppl are like that but not really "emo" kids

Emos are people, with problems dealing with it in their own way. they will eventyually grow out of it,hopefully realise that their the ones driving themselves deeper into depression. I should know, I was there.
