anyone can confess what they want ..including belief in Jesus as Lord and Messiah...but if it is not truly from the heart it is no good.....one can not confess and then as someone said live in sin and then have the nerve to believe they are getting away with anything and going to heaven....it must be a true confession and not one out of fear or convenience.....Jesus knows ones heart and knows when one is truly repentant and is truly wanting Him as Lord......so to answer your question ...if they are truly repentant and have asked from their heart.....yes

YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS
As long as they have a contrite heart and are truly sorry for their sins, REPENT before GOD and ask Him into their heart before passing from this life to the next, they can be forgiven. GOD said He will remember their sin NO MORE.
Problem is, some people don't truly believe with all their heart and some people are PUFFED up..meaning too PROUD to repent.
GOD is REAL and JESUS is COMING SOON and ALL the WORLD will CONFESS that JESUS CHRIST IS LORD!

If they ask for forgiveness for what they've done. To commit murder is to break one of God's commandments. The Bible teaches that if you have broken one of them (such as lying), then you are guilty of all of them. Jesus said so himself.
So, if you lied to your friend, and you're about to lose them as a friend, can you still be forgiven? Of course you can! The same goes with murder.
Don't forget the murderer who shared his death the same day Jesus was on the cross. He asked forgiveness, and Jesus said to him "Today you will be with me in Paradise."

Can you believe these answers!!! And they call us Atheists moral degenerates.
Yet someone who is loving, honest, kind, fair and lives an exemplary life but does not accept Christ will suffer eternally. Ghandi will burn in hell forever but Jeff Dahmer can go to Heaven if he's sorry.
I think I'm gonna puke.
That's why I'm an Atheist. Anybody who cannot see the depravity of that situation is not to be trusted. They will believe anything

According to many religious sects the answer is a definite yes. That's one of the fundamental flaws of religion...It basically says: Do what ever you want and in the end if you ask forgiveness you'll be forgiven regardless of your actions...In other words it absolves one of his/her responsibility for the actions he/she takes or fails to take. Ridiculous logic but that's how many sects view the world...PEACE!

If they confess with their mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord and that God his father raised Him from the dead, they can be forgiven. Remember the person who was crucified next to Christ for his misdeeds. He acknowledge Christ as Lord and Saviour and Christ acknowledged him.

Yes, they just have to ask God into their life. And they have to repent.
