I want to be a rock star, does this mean I cant be a.....?

born again christian. I really want to explore music, I dont want to do anything sinful, but sadly I think I already know the anwers to this question. I just want to know if I have any more options.

( and no I am not dropping christianity).

Great another Christian woman brought down by satin. Look Jesus loves you and he knows you have mental issues. He knows that once you become a rock star (which wont happen) your going to be a drugged up s.l.u.t..............so let it go and stop watching American Idol which is another one of satin's tool. You should pray and ask forgiveness for being so stupid.

huh? What kind of rock star do you have in mind? There are plenty of rock-oriented christian musicians out there, some are more open about it (i.e. they devote each song to Christian beliefs) while others are more subtle and convey a Christian message without necessarily blatantly saying so. I highly doubt that God would care what kind of music you made as long as you devoted it to your God. Don't feel that you need to equate rock star with sex and drugs and blasphemy, that's a path that some take but it isn't the obligatory path. Do what you feel is right and if you enjoy music, enjoy it but do it with the conviction of pleasing your God.

You can still play music -- just don't pretend that it is rock.

there are many christian rock bands out there!!!!! disciple, delirious, tim hughes, martin smith. You can still bring glory to god with kickass rock music!!!!
