Good luck!

I think that if you want to use roses in your bouquet, the number you use is up to you. Leave the stems on the roses (about 6 or 7") but pull the greenery and thorns off. Put them together they way you like them the best, then tie them together half way down the stems with a beautiful bow.(You might want to put a rubberband around them under the bow) My opinion on roses though is to always go with one color, but it is your wedding, do what you want.

I have to give you props for doing it yourself!
I would have ordered my flowers online. www.costco.com has wedding flower packages that are extremely reasonable.
You should go to a craft store and get the correct flower "setter" to make your round bouquet. You can get it at A.C. Moore or Michael's in the wedding aisle. I am sure someone from the floral area can give you some advice on putting your arrangement together!
Good luck!

Are you doing a nosegay or are you doing someother style?
While doing the nosegay, look at it from the side. It should be shaped like 1/2 of a ball. Don't make it overly stuffed with your main flower. Leave a few holes for another kind of flower & then the filler & greenery.
You should be able to find some instructions on-line.

Go to the craft store and buy a round bouquet holder which should help you achieve the proper shape.

I assume you are using faux flowers as real ones would be wilted in a couple of days, unless you are getting married within a day or so, of course. Anyway, leave this to a professional florist as there is no predetermined amount of flowers to use but a florist will better be able to make this.

Maybe you could try putting them in a styrofoam ball. You can get them at a craft store. And, I would think I would make it very full with maybe some babys breath in it.

It all depends on the size of the base you are working with.
