this really puts into perspective the times in which we live...people are questioning every normal emotion they have now, as a 'problem'...you just don't like to be alone...just like some people don't like to be bothered. I would say it is a lovely trait, and don't go trying to get the 'cure' for it...

There's not necessarily something clinically wrong with you.
It could be something as simple and normal as the fact that you're a gregarious person and feel very comfortable around people and like to socialize.

Or it could be some type of insecurity where you don't feel comfortable with yourself or you're afraid to be by yourself.

You said that you've recently discovered this. Is this something you just became aware of or is this something that's not usual for you? If this isn't usual behavior for you, has something traumatic happened recently, or has a major change happened in your life?

In the society we live in, it's become the norm to be constantly on the go and this busy-ness can make it hard for some people to be comfortable with being on their own and having private time. But on the other hand, it's good and healthy to have some "me time" in order to unwind, relax and regroup. So if this isn't something you're used to then give yourself a while to get used to your own private time and be patient with yourself. If you feel guilty about having private time, then remind yourself that this is something that's good and healthy. If you feel frightened or very anxious about being alone you may want to look at finding a counselor who can help you find out why you're feeling this way.

But on the other hand, if you just enjoy being around people and that's the way you like to relax then don't try to force yourself to be something you're not.

I believe that if classified, you are a Social type personality.

Being around people do not tire you: You recharge in the presence of others.
