Firstly, on Cheung Chau island there is a holiday home that you can rent on a daily basis that has seen about 6 people commit suicide in during recent years and is alleged to be haunted, the owners are planning to turn it into a ghost museum/macabre exhibition in the near future.

I have often heard a story that one of the floors of Connaught Center (now called Jardine House) was haunted by a Poltergeist when they changed the name of the building, apparently they ghost was so angry they could not perform an exorcism and continues to occupy one floor of the building today which is sealed off from the rest of the building.

If you look at a picture of Jardine House from this link you will see that one floor is in fact sealed off from the others, with the windows replaced with steel bars, but I cannot find any information that confirms the reason and ghost story.

Alternatively, you will find many ghosts in the bars of lang kwai fong and wanchai most nights of the week, they are referred to by the local population as 'Gwai Lo's' (White Ghosts).
