From a purely biological view, plenty. Toads are amphibians, while horny toads are reptiles. Toads defend themselves with glands that produce nasty tasting but supposedly hallucinogenic substances. Horny toads, besides their namesake horns, can express blood from their eyes to scare of potential predators. (In response to previous answers, neither species has an actual penis. Toads have cloacae which are universal orifices for elimination a of waste and deposition of sperm at the appropriate time.) Oh yeah, LOL.
