It Doesnt. Its a myth designed for middle age men with lagging sex drives to down many EXPENSIVE oysters. The only true substance that improves a sex drive is SMALL amounts of alcohol.

Oysters are high in Vitamin E, which are important in renewing many of the body's structures. Back in the sixties a nutritionist hypothesized this would mean more sperm production and hightened sex drive. It's been disproved, but the myth continues.

And remember that sex life is all about your mind, so if you truly believe it, then eat the oysters and enjoy ... it's all in your mind anyway.
