Ok, to start off, I've been been best friends with this boy for three years. Now I think I'm beginning to get romantic feelings for him. He's always told me that I can tell him anything, but I don't know about this one. I REALLY do want to tell him though, but if he doesn't like me back I think it could ruin the whole friendship. Advice?

Okay a similar thing happened with me and my best guy friend... except he liked me. So i kinda know how you feel. I would tell him, just see his reaction. If he begins to act weird because he doesn`t feel the same about you, talk to him and tell him you were being honest and still really want to be good friends. Hey, if you`re lucky maybe he`ll like you back... Good luck!

If he is as understanding as it seems then it shouldn't ruin anything. Having feelings for a best guy friend is hard because you don't want to screw up what you have. Believe me I know. Most of my friends are guys and all those questions do run through your head when you start feeling more then just wanting to be friends.

Just ask him what he would do if you had a crush on him. Of course it could work out the way you hope.
Then I wouldn't mind to hear that from any girl, as one has free choise to go ahead with it. If he doesn't have the same feeling but he is really a good friend, he'll know how to deal with it.

Well, I would see if the feelings are mutual first cuz I'm in the same situation but my best friend has a boyfriend so things would get ruined if I told her.

I had the same problem and I asked him" I heard a rumor that you liked me is that true ?" and since we never lied to each other he told me the truth and now we're together just try asking him that. It doesnt risk the friendship.

friendship cannot exist between man and women. there is always too much interest on either side. tell you friend don't be a coward. afraid to ruin a relatuionship? you already did.

just try, you've got nothing to lose and u could gain a lot. i had the same problem last year. we were firends about 6 or 7 years, and suddendly i fall in love with him, i told him and now we are into a relationship. good luck

If he really is that close to you you should tell him. And if he is mature enough and doesn't like you back it won't ruin your friendship

I did fall in love w/ my best friend and now we are not best friends and the hurt is unbelievable --even after a year and a half .... be careful ..
