I feel like a total idiot. I have a giant poofball on top of my head. It's like, 5 inches long. She took off 4 inches. I said I wanted one inch off. It's like the lady was deaf! What the heck do I do!!!

I hate that! My old hairdresser did that everytime! Do you have makeup days for school pictures? If so, stay home sick and then have your picture taken on retake day.

Thats why i never let no one cut my hair. that has happened to me a couple of times. my hair goes down to my butt and i tell them that i want just the dead ends off and they cut it above my boob. that really sucks. I would try to do the best that i could and if it still looked terrible i would be absent from school that day and think about how good my picture will look next year.

what i would do is buy a headband made of wire or metel. silver. they sell them at wal mart or target. one that has little stones on it would be cute. but dont push your hair all the way back with it just put it on top and use hair wax on the tips to give it shape... and kinda sweap the front bangs to the side. if your hair is curly or frizzy strighten it first. it will look more like a hair do' if you use the hair wax. good luck

You could try
1. a mohawk
2. lots of gel
3. a paperbag over your head
4. wearing fantastic makeup and marching into the studio with confidence. Nothing makes you look better faster than a confident smile.

Put in a headband, and just have the picture taken, and get re-takes when the time comes, or clip it back so it looks like its in a ponytail. I know its stupid but it will work.

i ahd the same problem with long hair then i cut of 7inches fwew but she told me if u get like a thick cream it will tame it down and conrtol the hair so its not soo poofy. the stuff i use is the graneil frutis surf hair it works well try it

yea tell me bout it that happend to me i had long hair now i just have a poofball but straightin ur hair always works ! it makes it look way longer

You could go for the Natilie Portman hair look. You know hjow she shaved it off for a movie and is growing it out. You could try the pixie look.

i did the same thing when i was in high school. The girl wasnt paying attention and gave me a military crew cut!!!!!!! YES A MILITARY CREW CUT!!!!
2 days before pics!!
I was called dyke...butch...etc..
I looked at them and said..."yea my hair might be short....but im hell a lot prettier than you on your best say"....they was so stunned that i said that...no one said anything to me since!

Can you stay home sick and show up for the "make up picures" they have?
Can you afford extensions?
can you curl it so it looks more like Marlyn Monroe and less like a fluffy duck?
