Blonde or light brown highlights?

im getting my hair highlighted and i have dark brown hair.i can't decide on what color to get!!

I have dark brown hair (naturally) but I have been highlighting it for the past 5 years. Go blonde. The light brown will not make that much of a difference in your hair color. The blonde will blend in real good and look great. Good Luck.

Dark hair will look most natural with soft light brown highlights, however trying to highlight it often ends up with gold or red. This is because dark brown or black hair almost always contains a lot of red, even if you can’t see it, so when you lighten it, the red and the gold is revealed. The only way to get rid of the warm color is to bleach it to light blonde. If you went with blond highlights there would be too much contrast between the highlights and your dark hair to look natural.

light brown if u do blonde it's to dramatic and may come out wrong but if the highlight is close to ur hair color it looks natural

Okay..here's what I think:

Blonde: I wouldn't recommend blonde, but if you really do want to go blonde then get caramel highlights

Light brown: -Thumbs up-

Red: Probably better than the two and would be more attractive

You should definitly get light brown first. Then if you want you could go to blonde.

I think you should get red highlights vs. either of those. It would be unique and add some dimension..:)
