Regardless of the fact that G-d created humans, He would still look the same, He is unimaginable to our minds, beyond what we can comprehend. No physical body, He is what he wants to be. Our concepts of energy, mass, light and reflection...they do not begin to describe Him, they are just words we use to describe the earthly things around us.
I feel that G-d created us because He needs us just as we need Him.

TO anyone who thinks G-d has a body:

G-d does not have a body, Moses was a Jew and it is against Judaism to even suggest that G-d has a physical form like us. The creation of "man" in His image is the spiritual enlightenment, the fire within us and free will. We inherited His emotions and are His children. Besides, if G-d does have a body, then what color is HE, transparent, white? Believing that G-d has a body brings Him down to our humble level, and people like this are just like the ancient pagans, who envisioned their gods as human bodied creatures.

God would be alone pure and simple despite what anybody else would claim. We were created in gods image maybe body wise but more likely how we are on the inside. So yes god does need us to reflect him with our emotions, he needs to feel like there is a purpose for him because its the same with us all that's where we got the need for it.

Wow, a lot of questions here. So let me try to answer them:

God is pure spirit. If we weren't around, He'd still be spirit. Only you wouldn't be able to see Hm, but He would be there (think of the wind). He's spirit, light, and energy. He wouldn't have a mass, I don't think.

God actually don't need us to reflect Him, but He wants us to. He created us so He could experience everything He desires to experience (we're all One; we are all God and God is all of us).

If God were alone in the void so then HE too does not exist. Something, somebody or someone should only exist when there is something, somebody or someone to recognize HIS existence. Since you used the word VOID, his essence will be in the NOTHINGNESS as HE is into EVERYTHING WHERE THE LIGHT AND DARK HAVE NO DISTINCTION.

Assuming that there is a God, He would be unchanged by His environment. He would not be energy or light. He is God. God did not create us for any reason other than that it was in His nature to do so.

I think the question should be, would you exist if there were no one around to confirm your existence. If there is a God, did he create us to prove to him self that he exists? In creating us, did he create himself?

I think he would be a beautiful bright energy being. Maybe no physical mass, but he has POWER.

Uh, is that like "If God farted in his own car, alone, would he roll down the windows?"
