So what's your question!

~Let me see if I've got this right. You are getting married on Christmas (Christmas Day or Christmas Eve, you don't specify) and your "theme" is winter wonderland. So, you want your guests to give up their Christmas to attend your winter wonderland wedding. Have you thought about the possibility that they might want to spend Christmas with their kids, parents, family, etc. and do whatever their Christmas traditions are? I didn't think so.

As for renting a sleigh with a horse, find the sleigh and just use the horse's @ss that you already have. As for the wonderland part, I wonder how many guests will choose to attend your wedding versus have their Christmas in their own wonderland.

First off, ignore the more insulting comments made by some of the people who answered this.

Second, since we don't know where you are from, I would suggest contacting a local stable or, if you can find one, a Livery. A livery is a company that supplies the horse and caleche for summer weddings so they may have a sleigh for a winter wedding. To find these, try either your Yellow Pages or, if you have signed up at The Knot, look under the local vendors section for your area.

Best of luck planning your wedding. I'm sure it will be beautiful and that your family and friends will love it.

Upper Michigan or Greenfeild Village if its snowing at the time of your wedding. You can call them and you can arrange to have it in the historic chapel in the village on the grounds and they will accomodate you with the sleigh ride. You have to call and book it with the Ford's Greenfield Village Henry Ford Museum planning committee

Wayne County Sheriffs Department is the only mounted police department. I don't know if they have a sleigh that they may loan out or use for special occasions.

Try the Detroit Public Library or your local Library. The Librarian can assist you in finding Sleigh Rentals
Or do a search online for sleigh rentals on Google,ASK, MSN, Yahoo, BIG MOMA , ASK JEEVES etc.

or check the saddle shops they may can tell you who may rent a sleigh. If your in New York the carriages in Central Park may have one available for such an occasion

Well lucky you...sounds as if you have no money worries.

Could I ask a personal question: why do you need all the "bells and whistles"??

Weddings don't have to be huge, elaborate productions.

Maybe instead of spending the money on a sleigh/horse, you could try donating some to a charity of your choice.

Sounds like your priorities are a little skewed, in my mind.

Sorry for sounding so harsh!

I just had my wedding Saturday, (2 days ago). It was GREAT I had a great time and our guest did as well. I hope your wedding is just as fun. The Sleigh ride sounds fun...but I'm not sure where you would rent one.
