Why does Yahoo allow any type of open forum or exchange of ideas? Why not just allow those people who totally agree with a pre-set, published, posted policy and agenda page post on here? Because this is the 21st century, Yahoo is based in America, the bastion of freedom. And if you don't like what's posted, don't read it.

Everyone has a voice.
Some gays turn this into a platform.
Some Republicans turn this into a platform.
Some environmentalists turn this into a platform.
Likewise, some fundamentalists turn this into a platform.
Almost any point can be made if you twist the question properly.
It is interesting (if not terrifying) to see the thought process of some types of people. It helps prepare me for others of their kind.

This experiment can best succeed with religious freedom. Besides, don't you find the psychology of fundamentalists interesting to observe in a public forum?

the same reason they allow atheists to come here and spew their hate and blasphemy. It is called freedom of speech and this is the religion and spirituality forum. If you don't appreciate it, maybe you should go somewhere else.

Same reason anyone else can have a go. Moslem, Hindu, Buddhist, Sikh, Jew. Anyone can say what they want. It's called free speech. Personally, I welcome being challenged on my beliefs. Sharpens me up. If you don;t like it, there is an alternative
