I'm black and native american. but I have long wavy hair. the only way I can keep it down is with gel. is there a safe way I can tame my waves without damaging my hair. I look like scary spice!!!

well i have an afro too and heres what i do!1. wash it with aussie shampoo 2.condition it with Nexxus conditioner(works soo god and detangles your hair) 3.put in a leave in conditioner OR a straighteneing gel/serum 4.blow dry it with a Conair blow dry brush straightner 5.flat iron it out so its perfect!if you follow all of these steps your hair will be tamed and cute!

what about a ceramic flat iron?? what ever you do< DO NOT get the japanese hair straightening, i did and it killed my hair so bad
